Raised at the renowned Mizusako Farm in Ibusuki, Kagoshima, a mineral-rich and naturally abundant region in southern Kyushu, Satsuma Wagyu exemplifies the finest Japanese Wagyu.

The Ribeye is located next to the shoulder on the dorsal side of the rib section, featuring thick, finely textured meat with beautifully distributed marbling that delivers a rich, full-bodied, and luxurious flavor.

Origin

Satsuma cattle from Mizusako Farm are raised at one of Japan’s largest family-owned Wagyu farms. Located in Ibusuki, Kagoshima, at the southernmost tip of Kyushu where is a region celebrated for its Wagyu heritage. The farm benefits from an exceptionally rich natural environment and mineral-rich spring water, providing optimal conditions for cattle growth.

Through years of research into feed composition, Mizusako Farm has perfected the production of red Wagyu beef with enhanced aroma, natural sweetness, and rich umami, reflecting decades of expertise in creating premium Wagyu.

Classification
